Ginger Gimlet

This drink is a twist off a Gin Gimlet created with a homemade ginger lime cordial.

Ingredients
2oz Parlour Gin
2oz homemade ginger lime cordial

This drink is shaken and strained over ice in a rocks style glass.
Garnished with diced candied ginger

Ginger Lime Cordial
500ml of sugar
500ml water
250ml of peeled and sliced ginger root
zest of half a lime

Cook for 10-15 mins then let cool for 10mins. Blend the mixture and strain.
Whatever the volume of mixture you are left with mix in 1/3 fresh squeezed lime juice.
